Quantity vs.Quality

Quality vs. Quantity..this dynamic was brought to mind while traveling in Europe where they have to choose quality because they don't have the quantitative resources like we have had in the U.S. We have squandered our resources because we have been so rich, ignorant and foolish. Now we are beginning to feel the squeeze of bad policies affect on resources. But we still can choose quality in our lives, food, relationships, healthcare. Many people are downsizing, becoming more efficient. Our technologies could be more efficient. Our healthcare could use better quality. Our food could be a much better quality over all.I believe we are in a challenge phase of seeing whether we can transition from quantity to quality. I believe we could be utilizing smaller systems in farming, energy and others...How can you move from a quantitative to qualitative state of mind and being?
